About the event
Nationally recognized, the Hawley Hamlet Neighborhood Garden originated when neighbors collaborated to transform lawns from grass to edible crops and native plants. Located in a single residential block about one mile from downtown Lincoln, the Hawley Hamlet is building community as well as food. It is a USDA-certified farm and a PlantNebraska affiliate land steward site.
Wear comfortable walking shoes as the Garden is in a square city residential block.
Our one request is that people not step on the garden beds.
