About the event
The Nebraska Nut Growers Association will meet us at The Hawley Hamlet Neighborhood to enjoy a tour led by Tim Rinne & Kay Walters starting at 10:30 am at the corner of 26th and T streets. Lunch will be delivered at noon by Relish Catering. We will have box lunches for the first 25 registratrants.
After lunch, we will head to East Campus for a tour of the UNL walnut, pecan, and hickory nut orchard starting at 1:30 pm. Nebraska Nut Grower President, Troy Pabst will share the background / history / future of the orchard. We expect the tour to last until 3 pm.
